Design Intentions

Create a 3D first-person walking simulator that conveys the experience of a character moving forward with their "emotional baggage," symbolized by carrying a suitcase

Reimagine Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "The Little Prince" from a modern perspective to explore the theme of manipulative relationships

Experiment with various ways to tell this story through staging, controller mechanics, and interactions with the suitcase

Rewrite The Little Prince by adopting the Rose's point of view (FR version)

​Structure the story into 3 Acts, brought to life in the game through staged animations narrated by voice-overs

Each Act is associated with a specific emotion felt by the Rose, retranslated into the player controller directly

Linear path between scenes

Introduce a disconcerting atmosphere for the player by placing them alone on theater stages, typically animated spaces

Use spotlight-style lighting for the staged scenes, also serving as landmark for the player's direction.
